Week 3

We are continuing to go over routines and procedures. Students are catching on very well! I have high expectations for our class- they are a great group of students!!!

Please visit www.spellingcity.com to review the spelling list for each week. There, you will find games, writing practice and other study tools to help your children prepare for the weekly spelling tests.  Every Thursday we play SPARKLE to help our class review the spelling words. Please ask you child to demonstrate how to play SPARKLE.

Our biweekly newletter was sent home today, updating you with all that is going on in our class.

Week 1

We've made it through our first full week of school!!! We have spent a lot of time practicing rules and procedures. Also, we have been reviewing addition and subtraction facts, as well as counting money, telling time and measuring. Soon, we will be moving full throttle into our Imagine It! and Everyday Math curriculum.

I am enjoying each and every one of my students! I am seeing so many different personalities, which contributes to the richness and diversity of our classroom culture!

Please stay tuned for important MAP and DIBELS testing dates.
